I'm flying into Myrtle Beach next weekend to visit my brother & would like to know what reef-fish stores are worth checking out. I'll be in Surfside Beach & looking within a 20 mi. area.
Thanks,
Bob
BOB guess you would want to go see Bruce at Sea Critters Depot in north myrtle beach. Not sure if any other store still carry saltwater fish around here. Our economy hasn't been well and most folks that i know of don't even have a tank anymore. Good luck sir maybe some of the others if anybody else even looks at this board anymore will post some more helpful info.
Thanks for the reply. I send 2 pm. to people on the board in your area & havn't heard back. From what I see their is not a lot of action in your area on Reef Central. B.T.W. the market is down everywere. I'm a fish breeder in Phoenix, Az. & it is slow out here also.
Bob
There is also Coastline at 17 bypass and Socastee Blvd. or what used to be the back gate of the old AFB. They don't have nearly as much stuff as Bruce in NMB but the have gotten more than they've had in the past. They recently rebuilt their salt water section. Some people complain about their customer service, but they usually treat me pretty good. It depends on who you talk to there (It shouldn't be like that). BUT Bruce has the larger selection and seems to be the most knowedgeable.
there is a new pet store in garden city on business 17 at woodland ave I think but I haven't been there yet and I don't know if they do salt water. Charleston has a real nice one it's about a 2 hr drive.
Bubba doesn't know what he talking about he messed up on pain drugs ha ha ha . Just messing with ya Fred. The fella down in garden city is supposed to be getting salt fish, haven't talked to Tom in a while maybe i need to ride down over the next few days. sorry to hear of your business Bob hope things get better for ya sir.
