Does it have to be 100 gallon? I get 65 gallon barrels for like $6 or $8 from D'ellalo's warehouse off of route 30. The entire top screws on and off and has a gasket to seal. I just use uniseals for the bulkheads.
black and green olives. I rinsed mine with water first then a water and vinegar mix and let it sit for a couple days and then rinsed again. RO/DI reads 0 so they are fine. I like them cause they are solid and no light can get in.
call the DeLallo's on route 30 in jeannette and ask for their warehouse number. Just tell them you are looking to buy the plastic barrels. They will give yo the number of the warehouse. I just checked my BB but don't have the number on it. The warehouse is only another 10 minutes away.
If you go and pick a few up I will take one - let me know when, I will pick it up at your house- have been meaning to get over to check out your tanks anyhow- now I will have an excuse.
Here is a couple pics of the 65 gallon barrels. I have them setup in the basement right below my tank. I have a mag 18 that pumps RO/DI water up and into a smaller 30 gallon barrel that I use for the ATO. You can see the lid in the last two pics. It has the solid piece that fits down inside and the ring that screws down over top to hold it in place. I just drilled the lid and put a JG fixture in it for the RO/DI.
They are pretty thick. I drilled through them with a hole saw and put a uniseal with 3/4 pipe. They don't flex at all. You would have to stand on the side of it to get it to bend. They are a dull orange so I painted them.
