Local Water Storage Tanks?

Yea try tractor supply. I know there is one in Amherst/Lorain. It shouldn't be to far from you. Salty critter can order then for you I'd assume the other fish stores would as well.

I looked online at tractor supply but all they have are the "leg style" tanks. I need more of a vertical style. Thanks for the suggestions.

The ones on craigslist have food oils in them and its impossible to clean, if you get one that doesnt have food oils in them they have broken valves on them that make the tank scrap because they leak.

Mcmaster Carr has some, but for the 70 Gallon its >$300. That's crazy! I think the ones I originally found might be the best option.

There is a guy in Mentor, OH that sells the 55 gallon blue food grade barrels for $25.00 each. They had fruit juices in them and clean up great. He's on Craiglist as well.

Check any farm supply, I picked one up locally in my town for 25 bucks. White/translucent with gallon indicators on side. Had iodine in it. I rinsed it out good and soaked it a couple times over the course of a week and everything has been fine. They also had smaller ones about 35 gallons as well. I don't use any valves, just a trusty old section of garden hose and siphon.

I can help out by selling 275 gallon totes for $100.00 each if you all want them- pick up in Brook park.

we can sell them clean, but we clean with tap water- I'd do a DI rinse before use if you want to ensure no tap water.

Yeah the Brew Kettle in Strongsville has really nice 55g food grade blue plastic barrels for $40 each. I bought two for my mixing station and they are great, best part about them is the lids are removable with a nice metal locking device. Makes for easy cleaning if needed.

Thanks for the suggestions. I forgot about U.S. Plastics being in Lima, but the ones I wanted are drop shipped anyway. I'm just going to stick with the original plan. I hope to start my build thread soon. Waiting on the guys at Aquatica to finish my 360 gallon tank. They had some great ideas for me.

I don't know if the first post meant $200 with shipping or an additional $200. I was at salty critter today and they had the upright ones for sale. I think it was 170 or so for a 65 gallon, and 220 for a 100 gallon. If you have to pay 200 just for shipping the savings would be well worth it.
