Locking up/ rebooting/ APex gone nuts

Last week I started with a PH problem, now my unit seems to be freezing, then rebooting every minute or so. The seconds never tick down.. That means that temperatures are showing as low as zero and PH doing the same. I have shut down my CALC reactor as it was going crazy as well as my heaters.

I did flash the new firmware last week, I don't know if that's at all related.

I have flashed the firmware again today that hasn't helped, any suggestion folks? I cannot upload the webpages as it reboots to quickly to accomplish that task.

I have moved this problem in the hopes that the new title will get more of a focus. I have also sent and email to Neptune as well....

A few examples

The irony of this whole experience is I was arguing (defending) this system with a hard core Profilux person just last week....

Leave it turned off until Curt contacts you. You have a very sick controller. Send another email to Neptune support with those screen shots if you can.

It's real sick

It's real sick

I sent an email through the contact us form, I don't think I can send photos via that form. Unless someone has a real address they would be willing to share....

When you updated the firmware did you update the webpages; they are separate steps. It almost sounds like the firmware upload wasn't (or didn't) complete so you may want to try to redo the firmware update operation.

Crazy.... I did nothing, this morning it allowed me to reload the firmware, pages, and restore from a backup.... I trust this like an ex girl friend at this point....

Yeah, I'm not at all 'good' with this, I don't have a lot of choice in the matter right now. I'm watching it like a hawk right now....

From a long term strategy I'm rethinking my approach to everything being controlled by a single controller. I may remove the dosing pumps and go with a separate way to deal with that....

How many of you folks have backup controllers parts in case of a failure? I normally have a set of probes but nothing more than that.

I do not; I use 1 controller (always have used a single controller) but I have the controller set to email when anything goes out of whack.

Did Neptune have any suggestions about fixing the problem or did it stop once you got a good firmware loaded?
