Just gorgeous! I hope to do this one day when I move out of my moms haha. I am hoping to buy a house with an unfinished basement. Build me a nice large tank and the rest of the living room around the tank.

Thats EXACTLY what i wanted!! Sadly i didnt have the $ for a few i was looking at with unfinished basements. lol
Plan ahead my friend, take it slow, and do everything you want to. Trust me, in the end it will pay off.

Hey dude. Nice to see you're back with a bigger tank. I was a big fan of your 40 breeder; in fact I think it was one of the best 40breeders out there ever.
I see you've stuck with the good old radiums and actinics. You're not impressed with LEDs lol. Neither am I. :hmm2:

That Build turned out nice! Question for you...that rack for your lighting...where did you pick that up from? I am looking to hang some MH and VHO that stuff looked slick!

Ive been so busy with work and vacations i havent had time. I should in the next couple weeks. Shoot i havent even been on the forum in a couple months. lol Sorry guys <3

The tanks been up about 7 months now and im ALMOST back on track where my 40g was... Its been a long road that i didnt want to take again. Ive been trying to stay off this forum and others because i get the itch and it depresses me lol.
Ive had some cyano bacteria blooms on my rock because i took the sand out and went back to bare bottom again(i cant seem to get away from it) Ive also had some other type of bacteria ive never seen. Its almost like a slimy thick booger thats been hanging on a couple pieces of rock i got from the LFS that were from a 3yr old tank(NEVER TRUST THAT...i failed) However with multiple water changes ( doing 45g a week), siphoning out what i can, and blowing off the rock its looking better.
All the corals are doing phenomenal i honestly need to post a for sale thread on here because i have some AMAZING rainbow monti, setosa, superman, forest fire digi, and some hawkins echinata i could move. The rainbow montis look crazy, ive never had the coloration out of them that i do now. Everything in the display is blowing up and some pieces i had after the crash have come back (superman milli, rommels WM, atl shades of fall, pearlberry, reefer madness rainbow nastua and a bunch of others) VERY happy about that.
Ill try and get some pics up soon guys, ive been slacking. It is time to come out of hibernation! LOL

Well i went to take some shots with the good camera and it was dead... so Iphone it is!
Here are a few updates:
As you can see i still have some Cyano on the rocks and some algae on the frag rack, which i need to take out and mount the new babies when i get around to it... oh work
