I purchased a lta yesterday and I put In my tank last night. This morning I see it pulled itself into a crack in the rocks face first. Is this normal? All I can see is his foot.

R u sure hes not closed ? They typically close into a ball when lights are off. Turn on the lights and wait a few hours and report back.

I have a 75 gallon tank that is about 4 months old. I have 2 power head on both ends of the tank. And I have 1 t5 light with 1 white bulb and 1 blue bulb on during the day.

All I see is his foot I will take a pic.

just give it couple days see if it will settle down, they are sand dweller.
you going to need more light than that.
height/4 = how many bulbs you need for t5. go with good brand you will have better results.

I would check ur water chemistry. While you do have insufficient lights, nems can go long periods without light.

I would say no. I owned a Marineland LED system a few months back and ended up switching back to my Metal Halide system. It didnt grow anything so i wouldnt think it could keep a nem alive for very long. Save your money and get something better imo. I cant recommend any other LED systems since i havent owned any. Just owned Metal halide and this Marineland. You definitaly need better light tho but i doubt thats what is causing it to behave liek that.

if you want led, razor are nice, if you have the budget go with radion. I am being a happy owner of radions for over a year now. good grow on bta, haddon carpet, mini carpet and gig.
T5, ATI is one and only light I will use myself. running a 8X54w over my sps cant be happier.

That sand does not look like LTA ready - as you may know it is sand anemone, like to have 4" substrate to burrow and retract in case of danger.
And anemone without checking basic water parameters..
How old is tank?
