Long tentacle anemone

Hi i was wondering if my long tentacle anemone is fine because i bought this guy yesterday and today it found a good spot but then when the lights were turned off it came out and its foot was just floating, is this normal? Thanks

did you turn off the water flow to let him settle in? How much sand do you have? As a sand dwelling anemone a minimum of 4" of sand is recomended.

They will move around until they find a spot they like. Mine didnt move during the day for three days,then at night it would move around and eventually picked a spot. Hasnt moved since.

Yeap, mine did the same thing...
It found a spot and attached in the back of the tank and then one night it let lose and wandered around.. the next day it attached, mine went under some sand and attached to a LR, I have about 3" of sand.
