Long term husbandry/old clowns

I have the two clowns of my dreams - a young bonded pair of B picassos. Since I got them a week or so ago I've realized that I want to dedicate my tank just to them (will more than likely upgrade to a larger on in a few years) but to just have them and their nems.

Here's my Q. Tank params aside - because I know they have to be perfect and what that is - how should I be feeding them for the long term? I've heard clowns can live for 20 years and would love for mine to do the same. At the moment I feed RODs original and they love it but should I be supplementing them with other foods/additives too?

My pair of Clarkiis is 9+ years old. I feed a mixture of foods, Rod's food, "red" and "green", LifeLine's Herbivore mix, Spectrum pellets, Prime Reef, Mysis, Angel formula ( have angels in the tank ), and pieces of krill and silversides from when I feed the anemones.

As for how I care for them, I just make sure that they stay well feed, do my weekly water changes and do my best to limit any stress.

9 years...awesome.

So basically just a good mixture of hight quality foods, low stress and clean water

I have had the pair below since the mid 90s. They spawn every 2 weeks (with an occasional break). I feed once a day and only one type of food. I beleive its the same food that you use now, mini

Oh WOW (sorry everyone...hero worship lol!) Hi Rod

OKay my little pics will continue with their daily diets of RODS. I feed them tiny bits about 5 times a day and they seem to be happy that way.

I hope they live to be as healthy and happy as both of the pairs shown on this thread.
