Long term success Ap. trimaculatus?

Does anyone have any good long term stories with Apolemichthys trimaculatus angels? I've seen a couple of really nice, clean examples recently that look like they're ready to eat and am curious?
Would be in a reef with a 5 by 3 foot base.

I had one for about 2 1/2 years that was doing really well and then took a sudden downturn after being bullied by a blueface angel. In my experience they are pretty hardy once you get them acclimated and feeding but they dont hold up well if they have to compete with more aggressive fish. It is my feeling that the larger and more aggressive angel put him on a downward spiral and he never recovered, and that if he had been left as the dominant fish in the system (as he was before the addition of the blueface) he would still be with me today. I've seen other flagfins do well in multiple angelfish tanks but I think it is the exception rather than the rule. I love this species however, very mellow for an angel and just beautiful.
