Long term success with NSW

I started my tank with NSW in 1971. No problems yet, I hear at 45 years old you get problems.
I walk out here with a bucket. I don't do anything to it besides filter out MP3 players, beach umbrella's and bikini tops

Lol Mr Paul how do you find these threads do constant searchs for NSW?

Yeah, extra aches and pains from years of lugging buckets of NSW But that happens with mixing and lugging buckets of ASW as well :lol:

Thats what Im afraid of when getting water from LFS. Even if the LFS is trust worthy doesnt mean their supplier always is.

That's how mostly all of them do i seen 2 different trucks at halover inlet all the time might I add that I do use nsw and salt mix I tend to switch back and forth or sometime half and half I feel that nsw is has natural foods for the corals and salt mix has those extra vitamins coral need been using both now for about 7 years no problem yet

Maybe if someone posted it on FB or the reef 2.... forum, possibly someone might know. :angryfire: I would be very upset if I bought that from a store.

Can someone explain what exactly is wrong with this.....? I am just looking 4 clarification because I don't know and I'm sure a few others who don't know may see this as well and not understand.

not the best of a pic, The tide is outgoing , water is brown/green. The water from the intracoastal is going into the ocean and into that U-Haul

When the tide is incoming , the water preferably is blue and the bottom of the inlet is visible. The water from the ocean is going into the intracoastal

i use VIP Saltwater, been using rick's water since about 1999, before that collected it myself in Salisbury, Mass. he only collects at incoming tide, i hope!!!!

I use NSW for the last 4 years and never had a problem as long as I measure the levels of the NSW before using it and then dosing to match the water to my tank's parameters.
