Hey Y'all! Been out for a long time, had a string of death and hospitalization in my family. After things leveled out, i bought a house in corning. So now i get to do w.e i want!! Needless to say its time to get back into things. Lucky for me i still have a nano reef at my parents that i have rock and a tiny bit of coral still.
Since i have been out anyone been upgrading to LED? I've changed almost my whole house over to LED lighting, and saw a huge difference in electric billing. So I decided to start small (we all know how long that will last) and work my way up again. I was thinking about trying out 2 12w LEDs like from the link below, on a 30 gal. Mushrooms Softies and maybe an LPS or two. Just hang from the ceiling above. Since this will be 24W instead of 96W of T-5 that i used to use, i could save on my daily usage. Any thoughts on this path?
