long tip anemone

I was curious if (4) 65W PC in a 175g tank would be sufficient for a long tip anem.


Also if anyone has some insight on the best way to care for it would be great to

That wouldn't be nearly enough light for an LTA ( or any other hosting anemone )

Hopefully you didnt buy the anemone already. For that size of a tank you should definite have halides or something comparable along with stable water parameters. Just use the search function and do some research. I am sure it has been done before but that doesnt make it right or practical. Hope that helps.

The big problem is that LTAs like to live in the sand. Unless you have a shallow tank, <15", I wouldn't try it. With your lighting you could probably get away with adding a BTA, as long as it has a perch that is high in the tank.
