I've had an Orchid Dottyback for over a year. I know they hide alot but he comes out fairly regularly especially during feeding time and when the lights are out. However about six weeks ago he disapeared. I thought a crab or serpent got him.
Fortunately, yesterday he came back out to play and seemed fine.
I've had other fish do this in the past. The Yellow Watchman Goby I currently have was missing the entire time I had my stock tank setup, almost a year. I never saw him once until I tore out the LR to setup my current tank.
Can anyone beat a year?
