I counted 26! Hopefully half go to the states and maybe someone on reefcentral will get a pair or trio!

How do you call single digit numbers to the US and Japan flooding the market? :)

haha i'm sorry.

i did not know they are appearing in single digits. i guess it was a little exaggeration on my part. hope you did not mind :p

but i have seen quite a few new pictures of johnsoni appearing in the states and japan so i guess they were pretty common there.

same as the rusty x flame angels. i've seen a few in the states and japan but none where i come from. and we get Cebu, Philippine shipments every friday here in at least 3 different LFS. no luck i guess.

i must wait until they show up in my country!

No need to apologize... :) Just messing with you... but still the numbers of johnsoni to the states and Japan are less than 10 despite all the photos...

The rusty x flame angel hybrids have been getting collected in big numbers now relative to before... you should be able to get these from Cebu if you ask...

i've been enquiring for rusty x flames for very long now but they don't come in. Cebu shipment did, however, bring in 5 flame angels from philippines before. not hybrids, just normal flame angels.....

will wait patiently. still waiting for a pair of G. semifasciatus here too. been almost 2 years since i last saw them here. used to be so common. what ever happened to them in my country.

Yes it's that small pocket of flame angels that I believe is forming the hybrids... inquire about them again... they're being found much more now...

People sometimes equate price with rarity, but that is not always the case... Genicanthus semifasciatus is a good example... next to impossible to find much less in good shape lately... being relatively deep and coming only out of the Philippines... if only my male kept the color he had when he came in wild... :(

Sorry to get off topic...

So who's seriously interested in getting some Cirrhilabrus johnsoni? If you are what mix are you interested in (pair, trio, single male)? I'm curious what mixes and ratios the hard core wrasse guys like...

I have interest in a trio of Paracheilinus bellae... :)

Cirrhilabrus, Paracheilinus, blah blah blah. Give me the Belonoperca pylei (aka "Dr Seuss fish") he used to collect and then I will be interested ;)
