Look what i CAUGHT!! ID plz

Ok i literally JUST caught this dude molesting my zebra hermit... i havent added any new rock to my tank in, oh... 6 months... First time i have ever seen it, and i caught it on my first try with my bare hand... (not smart i know) but i dont like random crabs in my tank... Plus i trapped another crab a while ago and didnt get this guy so i figured a trap wouldnt work..

What is this???

Looks close to an emerald crab. Best to get rid of it.

Ya i took some pics and immediatly tossed it in the crab tank.

So far im up to 7 HH crabs out of one 20g tank... my best record ever...

that looks like a red mitrax crab...cousin of emerald crab which is a green mitrax crab...it is an algae eater....if you look at its pinchers, they have flattened small "spoon" surfaces at the end, so they can grab algae...this crab isn't as hardy as emerald but a good on eto have in tank...I've had them in mine and they work for a living...

sorry, it is mithrax, not mitrax...I'm sure that is what it is...google images under red mithrax crab...algae eater!
