I need to work on white balance a bit to get true color of this fish but he is a beauty.
 
They are the coolest. I think Jenn got them to eat frozen mysis almost right away after she got them in the tank. Which after our reasearch is the hardest thing to get them to do at all.
 
yes ventralis are extremely finiky eaters, i got a trio of their flavicauda anthias and they are the hardiest anthias i have seen, they are eating tiny bits of krill and my custom reef food already
 
It's all part of his elaborate plan to distract me from his upgrade project that is taking over the house, and bank account. He figures, a pair of bright fish, and I won't notice the basement is about 3-5ft deep in misc tank crap. ;-)
 
Just a house. no sharing of tanks. She likes the soft corals and me the SPS. Her tank is in the living room and I am stuck in the basement. So it is a win win for everyone I think.
