looking at this brain and looking for info

this IS a brain coral right? sry my boss looked at me weird when i asked about his brain coral.

what kind is this? i think its a maze brain.

does it look healthy? the flesh has filled out alittle since we got it.

for 20$ does this look worth it?

info im interested in is exact name, ease?, and agression towards other tank mates.

it looks to have red-brown slime growing on 2 spots. the rock had a toadstool on it that was dead and has since rotted off. i wish it survived.... and theres a single zoo polyp on this rock but its ugly.

it looks like it took a bit of a shock.....but with good water and a little time is should fill back out.......I bought a lot of florida rock from the LFS and they looked just like that ...some of them worse but the are really realy nice now.....took a couple of weeks for them to really start to come around.....the flesh had retracted into the rock I think.......should be a nice one once it perks up a bit.....have to keep us posted...would like to see what she looks like ones she feels better......

keep some good flow on it....the red slime wont be able to survive there......

Looks like a Favia Sp. possibly a maze, If so, I have one for about 2 years, it is in my opinion a very peaceful coral and very pretty as it encrust in the rock were you place him, This coral will put out some long tentacles at night but I have never seen him going aggresively against other corals.
