They are not shrimp safe -- there is a picture of one with a shrimp halfway in the mouth of one.

I have had Mystery wrasse for 3yrs and had NO problems with it. Does not bother my CUC including cleaner shrimp and blue coral banded shrimp that is about an inch long. My melanurus wrasse was smaller than the mystery when I put him in and he has been the bully of the two ever since.
