Looking for a cube tank, here are my options... Anyone have one ???

Okay, well I was looking at buying Vlad's Oceanic 37g cube but got the measurements from him today and it's the 20" x 18" base model. They also had a shallower version which had a 24" x 18" base on it and that's the one I'm trying to find....

So i measured and figured after the glass holes kit and return out the back, I'm probably looking around 22-23" total depth. At that point I'm thinking I should just go for a true 24" x 24" 60g cube and be done with it. The only problem is I have no more room to spare and the Marineland cubes exit the rear on their RR 60g cube.

So I need to find either a 37g cube with a base of 24" x 18" OR a 24" x 24" reef ready cube that exits the bottom....

Anyone have any suggestions if either of these exist or are available ???

I sold a 2 foot cube to a guy on here awhile ago that had a bottom drain. They are available. Sorry I don't recall the brand of the tank - I originally bought it used.

Im pretty sure that I still have 1 or 2 of my Diy 24X24X16'S out back. The trim would likely need to be painted or tore off and re/trimmed. It would have (2) 1.5 drains out the bottom, and will easily handle (2) 15 gallon surge tanks.

+1 on aqua pros he has in stock brand new 60 gallon and 93 gallon marineland rimless tanks. The tanks also have corner overflows with holes on the bottom of the tank not out the back like previous models plus they are on sale 60 gallon $240 93 gallon was $420 and stand for 60 is $200 and 93 stand was $460 if I remeber correctly.

By the way love the Teal Snake. One of my favorite Stangs every made, and of course the 93' notch back and the 04' Mystic

The story of my life.. LOL Sorry about side tracking the thread but had to let you know about the car I myself am a die hard stang fan. At one point owned a 96 cobra for 11 years loved to drive it that being said. Good luck finding a tank

If you dont want rimless would look at how thick glass is and if same thickness as a 20 gallon would find couple used 20 gallons and remove the frame and use the two 24" parts from each tank and and glue it down to the rimless i am sure u can find the 20 gallons pretty cheap I would assume.

I was reluctant to get a marineland 60 cube because of the horror stories of the rear drain noise, but I set up a herbie drain and its whisper quiet. There is a bunch of plumbing in the back but if you put it in a corner it's mostly hidden.

I have no doubt that I would be able to get it quiet, I just have zero room behind the tank if I went with a 24"x24" base tank.... Needs to go through the bottom.
