ask an LFS that you usually go to, i know the one i go to if i ask for something specific he will look for it and then bring it to the store for me

AT was kind enough to email me a pic of the clam I will be getting. I was also happy about the price to..

Does anyone here sit there clams on a piece of PVC pipe? My tank is bare bottem and I was thining about resting my big clam on a 1inch piece of PVC pipe. Thanks..

Welcome! They are local and I can tell you the clam will be healthy..have never gotten anything from them that has died..:)

Have heard of people using a piece of tile also..so you can move it if needed.

That clam has size but it's not really a centerpiece due to it's drab appearance. Buy a Squamosa and watch it grow, they grow so fast you'll have your showpiece in no time.

Wow..gee always thought beauty was in the eye of the beholder..;)

;) You are correct, indeed. Just, if size was the seller, Squamosa's grow quickly, are readily available, hardy, and they look nice.

check some of the RC sponsors. A bunch of them sell clams

Live Aquaria
Dr. Mac's

to name a couple

Recieved my big clam from AT today its pretty huge about 6inches bulky to. I got that and the nice polyp rock below to. With that said, so much for it looking like a "drab". Pictures dont even do justice..
