Looking For A New Aquarium Maker

I'm looking to get a second 60x30x30 glass tank. I got the pricing back from Marineland and they now want $1500. Thats several hundred dollars more than the cost of their 300 extra deep. Can anyone recommend a glass tank maker thats not going to kill me? I would like the same set up I have now....dual corner overflows with 1 1/2" overflows and 1" returns. The tank can also have a frame as the stand and hood will be covering it.

That's not bad. Most custom tank builders charge about $12-15 a gallon, but that's fancy stuff. You have roughly a 230 or so gallon tank.

I would request for a few other quotes from the larger companies.

Agreed. But he has a wait list going. Very nice tanks and everything is customizable.

Maybe try deep sea aquatics? I have one of there tanks that's 60x30x24. Don't know if it will b cheap though.

Second Deep Sea Aquatics, they made me a custom cube a couple of years ago and it is built very well. Their tank builders were a group of former Oceanic employees who started their own company and you can tell because they are built like the old Oceanic tanks. Good Luck!

Thanks everyone. If I had my way, I would just get the 300Gal Marineland Deep Dimension tank at $1200, but unfortunately, I don't quite have the room for the 36" width.
