Looking for a specific tank build - EZTube.com sent me here

I’m building out a new 400G peninsula tank that GC will be completing soon. I’m at the lighting grid portion of this project. I’m going to have 8 XR30’s and 3 8 foot T-8s. I’ve got a design for a grid to support and manage this lighting setup. I want this rack to be able to lift up towards the ceiling, about 3 foot. Separately I also want it on a trolley system to move to the left of the tank about 5 feet. I’m OK manual or if reliable, automation works as well.

It was recommended to me to reach out to EZTube on some of this. EZTube mentioned to me that there is a great build here at Reefcentral.com that someone has done what I am trying to do. This person has also done a parts list for what I need to do this. This is my first post here, sorry for simply asking. Is anyone aware of this post? I’ve looked around, but I don’t see it. Can anyone help with a link?

Did they happen to mention the users name? As mentioned there’s a lot of threads with these builds. But many aren’t excessively detailed

I previously did the search that way and it returned 7 topics, none were what I was told to look for. The guys at EZTube.com made it sound like it was some spotlighted thread or what not. Sorry to bother ya’ll. Wasn’t sure if someone may know the specific example. Happy reefing!

Not a bother at all. I found a few threads but many were older and missing photos thanks to photobucket. Perhaps see if you can get a name from eztube (username would be best and we can try to find that thread he was talking about).

I’ve asked. I’m finding threads with “lightrail”. After reading some, I’m wondering if I should be using EZTube or T Slot, lol.

Ez tube brings up a lot, I didn’t try t slot. I also tried moveable light rack. Hope that helps some
