Got these from a guy that lives by me. He thought it was a Ric of some sort, but it sure doesn't have the qualities. It has a bright green mouth in the middle and the polyps swell up when the lights are on. I have reef optix pendants with 250w MH's XM 20,000k. Any help in an ID would be greatly appreciated.

No it's a Yuma, with crazy swollen mutant tentacles. Like it got some crazy does of growth hormone and screamed Aaaaaaaah, I will kill you!

Looks like the red color form of warty corallimorph to me, it is a common coralimorphpharian related to ricordia, but in the genus Discosoma, D. sanctithomae I think, look it up on the internet, the normal color is green, but I've seen them red, orange, green with white tips and combinations of those colors. Very interesting and easy to keep corallamorph.

while the coralimorph in question does slightly resemble the red morph of Discosoma sanctithomae, it is most certainly not from the Caribbean.

it is a yuma.
