Looking for bright pink SPS

Hey all. I've been browsing through the boards lately and realized that most of the über tanks out there have at least one brightly colored "Pink" SPS in their display. I also realized that I don't....

I'd like some recommendations of the brightest pink SPS out there. Pics to show is a big plus to get a feel of how bright your pieces are. Thanks

Ponape rosario one day after fragging. it turns a lime green on the bottom and fades to bright pink at the top.

I usually start looking at some of the coral suppliers like Frag Farmer, Atlantis Aquarium, Reefer Madness. Then I look for people selling whatever catches my eye on those sites. You can get pretty close if you know what you're looking for.

Nothing pinker then a Pink Birdsnest

This is probably the coral most often seen in those "Uber" tanks you're refering too as well... hardy as heck and grows like a weed.

Another great one is a pink millipora, but they'll vary and the Seriatapora really stands out IMO.

+2 pink stylos. AKA CATS PAW

I would agree that pink stylos are the brightest and easiest to maintain color.

Here's another option for variety. My ATL strawberry prostrata is an eye catcher from across the room and has an awesome tabling growth.

That is SICK! I recently picked up one similar to that, A little more on the red side, hopefully it grows out well.

Thanks! You'll have to post some pics when yours grows out. More on the red side sounds even better!

Mine has been a fast grower, it started as a small frag about 2 years ago and I have already had to trim it back once or twice. Lately it has been growing horizontally at a fast rate. Not too much longer and it will be in the way of the magnet cleaner :(

ORA rose mille can achieve a hot pink - almost highlighter color - under good conditions.

I have that coral also. In my tank it looks similar to the ATL strawberry prostrata but is a little darker in the body and not quite as vibrant. Here's the best shot I have of it.

I have some sort of unnamed pink monti wth pink polyps. It's even more pink than the birdsnest (if that's even possible, really). But it's not some sort of bling blang fashion coral name.............does that make a difference? :)

Pink stylos are the brightest pink I've ever seen in a reef.

Pink Stylo was the first thing that came to mind when I read the thread title.

Nice guys. Very nice...I have a Pink Cat's Paw thats supposed to be pink(I think, thats what it was sold to as) but it's more of a purple than pink. I also have a pink Birdsnest but has BLUE polyps and some pink millies but they are not to my satisfaction. Any idea where I can get my hands on some? Perhaps a vendor where you purchased it from? All the LFS around me sell them but never the vibrant, retina burning ones that I see here. Thanks guys and keep 'em comin'.

I would go with pink birdsnest (seriatopora sp?) or stylophora both are pretty good but I think the hardiest and the easiest to keep the color on is the birdsnest variety. Good Luck! Plus, once they get to a good sized colony, the shape of it is pretty cool.

Splendidly delicious guys! I will take one of each! :) does anyone know what vendor currently has the hot pink birdsnest or stylopora available?

I'd love to see more pictures if you got 'em. I'd like at least 2 different pink species in my tank.
