looking for COCO worms

hi guys, I wanted to add coco worms in my tank, anybody seen them in stores?

country critters gets them in occasionally. i was just there today, but didnt really take notice to if they had any in.

Do I remember you having a Copperband Butterfly?

I did at one time Larry. I only have anthias & wrasses this time. and a hawk fish.

I know that a CBB would view a $50.00 Coco worm as a tasty snack, I don't know about the Hawk fish.

i would like tp know myself too. I have rad they are very difficult yo keep. I wonder if feeeding or flow plays a major role

According to Ron Shimek w/o very heavy feeding they starve over a period of 6-12 months.

I tried twice. First one made it for about 9 months. Second one didn't make 3 months. That's when I gave up.

hi guys, I was able to pick one up from Mutts & Butts. He was never opening in the system he was in, and was very shy after acclimating. 2 weeks later I moved him under a over hang that got medium-light flow & has never stoped showing himself!

so here is my experience on placement:
on rock, not sand, under over hang, no light, medium flow.

I only picked up one of the three Lumenarcs, as I'm in construction mode. I won't be firing them up any time soon, so there's no sense in having them around where they could get hurt. I needed one to make sure all my measurements are right.
Lumenarcs sure look cool though!
