if you control the temp in one won't it equal out in both.?
or is there not enough flow to keep them equal.
just curious.
I would think having a sump in the basement would help with cooling....

Ranco makes a nice controller that runs about $125 that will control the heaters and a fan or chiller if you have one. It has a high temp setting that will kick on a fan and a low temp that will kick on a heater so you can have a dead spot in the middle that is where you will allow it to run (maybe 77-79 degrees).
You can also do the same thing with an Aquacontroller or a ReefKeeper controller. They run about $250 and can control PH and lighting as well as temps. It will also shut off your lights if the temp gets to a set point to help the tank cool off.
