Best regards

If you like Euphylia, you have to check out Reef's Edge. They have a giant one in their display tank that they take cuttings off of periodically.

Maybe something like this? Not for sale BTW, my 1st frag I ever got... super tiny when I had it.

exactly, not hot pink, but pink. and i shouldn't say pink tips they are more along the lines of whitish pink. just like the top pic.

Its very pretty! Unfortunatly i dont get down to miami much, if you have it still at the next meeting maybe? I dont have a car lol.
Eric can those two types live near each other or will they sting each other?

I think so, they have never been close together in my tank but I don't see why not. I know for sure their stingers are not as bad as my torch.

euphyllia species can touch each other, i believe that even the torches and hammers can touch, as well as the frogspawn and torch. I may be mistaken though.

sweet thats good news, do they do esp. well under bright light? i was thinking of putting these up on my seastack which is 3 inches under my lights, (2x65w pc's) So the'd cover it and make a colony. Also they would be well out of range of the other corals.... Is this a good spot for em? it has med. strong flow and soon im getting a osillating powerhead adapter for my maxij 600, one that turns round and round on water pressure thought this might help perk things up in my tank.

mine are in a lower light area and are doing well. and they are moderate random current. 3" under lights may be a bit strong, but im sure there are others that do it differently then myself.

Under 130 of PCs will be fine. Just try to slowly acclimate them to the light because when you just throw them somewhere they are not use to it will take time for them to open and so on.

Keep in mind people have these corals under VHOs, T5s, and even MH and they still do great. PCs are just the standard for reef keeping, everything else puts out more lighting.
