Looking for exotic wood for stand...

Does anyone know where I can find some nice woods? Boards are fine, but also looking for ply wood. I just don't know where to look! I am in no way skilled enough to veneer, so any help finding some nice lumber would be greatly appreciated.

If you have no local woodworking stores you can check Rockler.com but it wont be cheap.

Lowes and homedepot usually carry oak plywood thats not to bad. Sometimes homedepot even has a special cabinet grade for $20

I have used Mckinley lumber in stockyards city off of agnew and woodcraft .

They both have raw lumber and plywood. I have purchased zebra and padauk from both.
