Looking for good anthias choice for my tank

My tank is 150g (4'x3'x2') and I am looking to add a few anthias. One potential problem I am concern about is I might not be able to feed them more than once a day until I set up a auto feeder. Do people think this will be a problem or are there anthias that are more forgiving in turns of feeding?

I have my eyes on the following choices. Are these good choices?

Luzonichthys waitei

Pseudanthias dispar

Mirolabrichthys evansi

If none of these are good options for me, is there a better choice?

Pick a type that are easy feeders.
At least then when you do feed they will get a good shareful which will sustain them.

I'm told the evansi are very difficult feeders, similar to the tukas I have. The latter do feed, but only painfully small amounts.
By contrast my dispar, bartletts and squamipinnus eat like absolute pigs (latter are probably hardiest of all anthias)

Bartletts are by far the better choice IMO. I've had a number of different species and find by far these are the easiest. Consider and autofeeder using NLS pellets. Once a day feeding even with Bartletts may be a problem as that just isn't enough even for them. If you can't use an autofeeder then I would wait until you can get one.

That's why I asked the question. :) Sounds like I should cross evansi out (or at least not until I have a auto feeder set up).

Between the remaining 2, I guess dispar is the better choice?

Dont think evansi will eat pellets.
My tukas only take live food or frozen cyclops, lobster eggs and finely chopped pink prawn.

I dont know the first type you have posted, so yes, I'd say dispars.
That said, best recommendation is probably Bartletts.

Lyretails, dispars, and bartletts are probably the the easiest of the commonly available anthias. They usually are not difficult to get eating (dispars can sometimes be finicky), and once settled in, get along fine with only a heavy feeding or two a day.

Borbonus (blotched) Anthias have been a good choice for me. although not cheap or commonly available, they will eat anyfood i put in the tank.

Ive had good luck with my square back female. She is fine off one feeding a day and eats anything I put in the tank. I've only ever had one though, so I dont know if thats normal or if I just got lucky.

To my understanding this is not the norm. They are supposed to be pretty tough. I tired a few and have never had good luck. I will never buy another one. I just dont feed enough and they end up starving.

I think that this species is extremely fragile even as far as anthias go. I definitely wouldn't attempt to try them when you know you can only feed once daily.

I will avoid them for now. Out of the 3 I listed, this is the less expensive one and since I am looking to add 5 to 9, it's a bonus. Just curious, have you had them before? Or where did you heard they are extremely fragile? Links to a thread or article?

I have never had them. I looked into them over a year or so ago and basically couldn't really find any positive information on people keeping them successfully. I passed on getting them because I'm really not a fan of purchasing fish that end up withering away in my care. Keep in mind even if they are cheap, if you're losing a bunch of them, they are going to add up when you're trying to get a group that large.

Do you still remember threads where this is discussed? Are they difficult to ship? Difficult to feed? Won't eat? Have special diet requirement or being collected incorrectly? Have you try asking LiveAquaria for info on this fish?
