Just make sure you stick with 1 size pellet for consistancy.
Dont blend them thinking you are giving the fish some variety, it really messes up the consistancy of the feeder output:fish1:
I have a mixture of about 10 things in my Eheim. The key is keeping the size of the food about the same (small). So with some of the flakes I crush them up to be more like the NLS pellets in size. I also like to use freeze-dried foods in the mix. These work well since the feeder feeds right into a feeding ring allowing the freeze-dried stuff to hydrate. I do love this feeder and have mine set to feed 4X per day.
What are the mounting options of the auto feeder? Did anyone mount it inside the canopy? I am concern that even with a small fan, moisture would be an issue.
