looking for good store?

i'm looking for a good store for some shuran reactor media or comparible too. Premium aquatics are out

I use the schuran reactor media thats how I know custom aquatics has it. I like the stuff, it is pretty solid and seems to be long lasting. Doesn 't turn to mush to easy.

Unfortunately you are probably going to be pretty hard pressed to find any large media anywhere in the states right now. Schuran had messed up a shipment on accident, and customs turned around two full pallets of nothing but media just a couple weeks ago stating that it was CITES regulated.

The Gen-X (Pacific Coast media) is on manufacturer backorder right now, and they are not expecting any for another month to two months.

The only other place I could think of that might have some left in stock is Aquatic Eco Systems. HTH

Has anyone else noticed that Custom Aquatics service has gone down hill. A year ago if I had a question or needed something I heard from them in a day. Doesn't seen to be that case any more, even if you asking about your order... Just wondering if anyone else is having the same experience or if I'm just lucky...
