Looking for Icecap 660

I have a 660 but its not firing my bulbs. I can send it in, but i just want to double check that it is DEFINITELY the ballast before i go through the trouble of sending it in.

If i could even just borrow one plug it in and see what happens....or if the price is right, i could always use an extra ballast...

anyone have one for a quick loan or for sale?

This might be too obvious, and expect you already checked this, but I'll say it anyhow just in case...Did you try replacing the fuse? I have had those type fuses blow without that nice obvious burn out in the middle, they look good visually but just don't work. So when it seems good, but all else has failed, sometimes just replacing the fuse does the trick.

three of the4 bulbs turn on for a second and then turn off, one never fires at all....its always something right? and to think it worked before i disconected it from my old vho setup....heh

2nd on the fuse. I already replaced mine once. Make sure it is the correct one. It might take a slow burn or something.

not new, the wrinig is exact, checked it a few times...lol.....its so frustrating, i just want this darn thing to light, i had all the stuff ready fo my 125 and never got to set it up..now, i have just this lil 'ol 55 and i finally got all the right stuff for it and i'm STILL stumbling at teh finish line.....aye!

You can bring your ballast over and plug it in my tank to see if that is the problem, bring the GARLIC:lol:.

you do have a point though....i can't spend any moola (i.e. gas)....lol...garlic will be at the meeting next friday....have you heard the story behind it?

well first, one was opened or something...at least leaking....so it got thrown out...so i find out and am like what the heck? that was 70 bucks worth of garlic...soooo we order 4 new ones....they send the wrong size, but now...noooow, we've finally got it under control....lol

Yeah Brad drive! Plug it into Pierces tank and drive 2 minutes and get your leather frag! That alone is worth the gas youll spend.
