Mertens rank pretty high on the difficulty scale don't they? I currently have a crispa and a rbta (different tanks) and I think I may have made a mistake adding to my nem collection - now I want more! I'm envisioning dedicated cubes all over the house with specific nem/clown combinations.

My crispa has two false percs hosting it, and I'm hoping to add a pair of black occell.'s to the other tank that has the rbta soon.

I'm addicted...I need to take some updated pics of my tanks and post them so I don't feel like I'm hijacking this thread!

Second, in the faq i believe it says merten's are really hard, but so far imo and in phil's experience they have been really easy, they just get huge. Low flow, not to bright of lighting, and mine eats anything i throw at it lol. Any other questions you may have feel free to post in my thread and i will answer as not to hijack this thread anymore.
I will post some more pictures in a minute.

They looked like small tadpoles, just with red bodies and a clear tail. 3. How can you say there has not been any agression? they have only been in the tank 2 days & you can see it already in the video you posted.

I really hope you take better care & give better advice to your maintance accounts than you do with your own tank.

The first tank is my 30 gal that's 3 years old. We've had the crispa for two years now. Got it when it was a white ball of goo about the size of a baseball (less maybe) and nursed it back to health. The tank is going through a transition right now since we added another tank some of the bigger things have gone or will go into it. This tank is turning into the crispa's tank with a few softies and a few lps. There's four fish in there - two occell.'s that love their nem, a flame angel, and a yellow watchman goby (who we lovingly refer to as goby-won-kenobi. Ignore the algae, we've been fighting phosphates for two years now and recently added a sump with fuge, upgraded our skimmer, increased our flow etc... and we've dropped our phosphates but not enough, still working on it.

My 75 gal. hit the magical 6 month mark (waited a while for this nem!) in December, it went through about a 6 week cycle before we started counting down, so that makes it almost 9 months (?). It's on a monster stand with a sump underneath. We've had the rose (top left corner) for a little over a month, and I love it!

We're still in the process of stocking this tank, taking it slowly. It's got quite a few snails, and some corals but only three chromis. Our hopes are for more chromis (like the schooling thing) black occell.'s for the rose, a harem of filimented flasher wrasses and a male to flash for them, maybe a yellow tang, and of course more coral.
