Looking for a Isochrysis galbana Starter Culture

I have a Isochrysis culture that (somehow) became a little green from a temperature problem and the cells aren't coming back to the natural brown. I would like to know if any of you guys culture this strain and if so, would you be willing to part with a 250ml starter culture. I can just buy one but I don't like the shipping charges so I'm looking for someone locally that may have one already going.

If interested, I can pay you for the culture or I could trade for any of the other little goodies that I presently culture.

I currently have going,

Brine Shrimp
Tiger Pods
Nannochloropsis Oculata Phyto
Tetraselmis, Green Phyto
Rotifers Brachionus
I also have a large supply of decapsulated brine eggs (they don't hatch, just full of good stuff for the fish, inverts and corals).

Let me know,

Darren

Good luck finding it in town. Only a few people here culture Nannochloropsis. Are to breeding fish or just feeding your pods?

Just feeding pods.. I have an active strain, but it was my first go with that algae and I had it under a little to much light and the temp a little low and I got the cells going green under my scope. Others have had this problem and there are a wealth of ideas but to be honest, I would rather just start over on that strain. All my other cultures are strong and easy to harvest except that one... I guess if I can't find it here, I will have to buy it online just the shipping charges suck :(

Oh hey Bob, My friend from High School DJ says you know what your talking about so I would happily listen to any advise you want to give.

I thought about starting one too but sounds pretty hard. Iv'e had nano going for over four months now, stable, agitation seems to be the key for me. If you get one stable keep us posted.
