I am looking for live mysis shrimp to seed my fuge with. I would like to get 10-20 of them if that's possible. I'm more than happy to trade a frag or two for them. Can anyone help?

great, I'll chat with you about it tomorrow. Never heard of the seeding powder. Does it have eggs in it or what?

Yes it does, and it works like a charm, whith in 72 hours you can see your fuge completely cover in all kinds of critters.
And Reeflife has this.? Hope Im not hijackin your trend Chris

I am sure that it produces a ton of pods and among those you will see misys as they grow. I don't know a brand, Pat use to sell it in small plastic bags and it was fairly expensive I think $15, He will remember what it was he might still have some, I still have some if you need

If they dont have them, let me know...my refugium and take is covered with them and tigger pods...get a bag and brine shrimp net and come on over! Or I have some nice pieces of extra LR down there if u are interested that I am sure had tons too!!!

Hey Chris, did you ever find any live mysis? I'm also really interested in inceasing the diversity in my fuge...

Interesting, I am thinking about seeding my refuge for pods now. When I 1st started my tank I saw a lot of pods, but now I don't see too many at all.

I'm also very interested in doing the same.. They're actually called mysid shrimp if you're searching online. Mysis are from fresh water. the only thing i could find online where you can buy em was

http://www.reed-store.com/?category=60&subcategory=31

but you have to buy 250 of the suckers for 90 bucks and they're 20 days old (not sure how old they have to be to reproduce or when they possibly stop).....
Here's some good info on culturing them

Lemme know what you guys find out!
