Looking for pictures of BTAs

briangg57 - you've got a lot of anemone in there! Looks like they, and the caps, like the light well enough. Just curious, do you have any light loving clams in there?

pbd61 do you feed your anemones a lot? If so, what are you feeding? Just wondering why they split so much.

Chris, nice picts. Is that an accurate color? If so, wow! It's so red.

So, PC lighting does seem to work for both BTA's and what looks like a maxima clam. Nice lighting for photos too!

I guess I'm in the minority, But I considered the cost of the original light, plus the cost of bulb replacement, plus monthly electric cost, plus the fact that my friend almost burned his house down. I added all that up and decided to see what corals would do well under my lights and I found that there is NOTHING that I want, that I can't keep. My nems, clam, montis, you name it- they all grow like weeds. My green monti was an invisable hitchhiker on my kenya trees and now I've got more than I know what to do with.

I want to make it very CLEAR, I know that there are many corals that I can't keep with my lights. But my tank is more beautiful (TOO ME) than I ever imagined. And the animals in my tank have all been there for at least 2 years exept the clam, 1 year. All of them are not just surviving, but are totally flourishing. And I'm totally content with the kind of animals that do extreamly well for me.

i keep a BTA under a 2 year old 65w 10k pc bulb ;)

but its color is drab brown, my Reds are under 2x250w HQI

12 - 14 for the red and 10 - 12 for the green/brown. I'm still looking for a bright green one to complete the island.

A pic of my anemones.

sgarron I have like 6 green ones mostly babies, and I wouldn't mind parting with one. But they are no neon green. Just green with purple/pink tips.

SNAKEMANVET Nice! Very nice! Are all of those rose Btas
