looking for plans on DIY skimmer

I've decided to give it a go at building a recircilating skimmer
(can't be that hard)

I don't care how ugly the plans are, it's for a basement sump
I'm looking for something to handle about 300 g total volume

can someone point my in the right direction for some plans/pics
