i have a 220gal tank that has a healthy haddon carpet nem and a pair of young darwin clowns in it. so far the clowns have found the nem and from everything i have read they will not go into the nem.
so i am going to be adding a rbt men for them soon and was also thinking about adding a young sebae clown for the haddon once my darwins get a bit older and larger and find a home in the rbt.

as the darwin clowns stay near the top 1/2 of my tank and my thinking is that the sebae will stay near the haddon(its home) so they should not fight( if everything goes as i think)

let me start by saying yes i know is a risk having 2 types of clowns in one tank but had anyone had any luck with what i am thinking about doing?

I had 3 clowns in my tank. 1 pair 1 single. The pair hosted a RBT. After about a month the pair ended up killing the single.

A 220gal may be fine for awhile w/ juvies, but once the pair starts spawning they will kill any other clowns in the tank. It seems you know the answer, but just want others to agree w/ you. What you're trying is nothing new & almost always ends in death to the straggler clown.

thank you for the answer, i wasn't too sure on if they would kill each other or not but by going with you answer and the others i will pass on the 2nd type of clown
