looking for pumps

Just my opinion but a Mag 7 would be the smallest I would recommend. At 5' of head it will roll over that tank 4 1/2 times per hour (with a sump even less) and that's light for a reef tank. Go will something like a Mag 9.5 or Quiet One 4000. I run a 9.5 on my frag system with 100 gallon total volume and a Quiet One 6000 on my 90 gallon display tank with a total volume of 120 gallon, both with a estimated 5' of head with piping. With those pumps you will roll the water volume at 7 times an hour estimated.

I have a newer Panworld external pump that I am not using- I will have to get the exact number- 50px-x or something like that ( 1200 GPH if I remember correctly) I just switched it out a few months before I sold my 90 last summer - I had it set up as an external return pump. Let me know if you are interested- seems a little overkill to use for mixing - but it will really do the job for sure.
Are you running any "wave" type pumps in the tank? I had the Panworld described above as a return thru a SQWD my 90 gallon reef and 2 smaller K1-2's for wave motion- it worked very well and had no problem with heat from having a large internal pump putting heat into the water - although if your using LED' s heat may not be an issue - I was using T5's and VHO's. Just my 2 cents with 8 years experience running a 90 reef tank.
