Yeah I know. This place was different before 2010. Different population in the bay. So cal has all the people and the shops. Think it might be time to move back.

lol I was living down there for a few years and yes, the community was a lot bigger. Not going to move back for it but I wish it was more active here.

So Cal isnt much better.... everything is "high end" :lmao: and spread to far apart. You may find 1-2 great in San Diego.... but have to drive 2 hours to get it.... decent deals in LA... but again the traffic..... if your like me and would rather just have it shipped you might as well order online..... or else spend more on gas than shipping. One of the Aqua stores in San Diego is having a great sale right now and only $25 to ship. Good luck.....

I'm a transplant from San Diego and I can say with confidence, the San Diego reefing scene is WAY better -- 5 years ago...

I still go to the SD forum every once in a while to see how things are going and it's similar to how things are up here. There are just a lot less hobbyists than there used to be so not too many frags going around.
