Looking for recommended diving in Maui

I'll be in Maui for a week in March 08 and I've never been to that island before. I'm looking for some advice as to which dive shops, boats, dive sites you would recommend.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

I have dove with Ed Robinsons and did the three tank dives they were GREAT!
Big boat great crew and only three divers! Talk about bottom time

I also dove with Ed Robinson and his boat and crew were great.

Also dove with Extended Horizon http://www.extendedhorizons.com/ . Talk about two classy run businesses. I dove with my twelve year old daughter (certified when 10) and both companies gave her great attention and respect.

Looking back, if I were to have to pick one of the two, I'd go with Extended. Just because they took a bunch of photos of my daughter and I diving and delivered the burned CD to our hotel the same night as the dive.

I also vote for Extended Horizons. My husband dove with them on their boat and a guided night dive at BlackRock. Unfortunately, I had a sinus infection.

Thanks for the info everyone. I narrowed it down to Extended Horizons or Ed Robinsons. Both looked awesome on their web sites. I think I'm going to try Extended Horizons because they offer a scooter dive and I've always wanted to try it. I emailed asking if they offer camera rental as well.

Thanks again,
Mark

We highly recomend Ed Robinson Maui Diving try the pagkage
1,Back wall, hope the Manta's flying
2,Molakini
3,night dive and see all the creatures of the night

I went to Maui a couple years ago... did the Lanai trip out of Maui Dive Shop... awesome trip with only twelve and two dive masters. My divemaster was a marine biologist and she and I were always the last two up by several minutes.

We dove signiture Lanai dives Nob Hill and Cathedrals. Cathedrals was incredible.

The snorkeling from shore in a lot of places in great too.

Thanks, our local dive shop recommended a night dive too. He showed us pictures of his Hawaiian night dives. I need to remember to bring the flashlights. We're leaving for Maui for our wedding in less than three weeks!
