I was in the market for these recently and couldn't find them used. I'd recommend you look at HelloLights.com. They have spider reflectors with mogul sockets for $30ea. I could not find a better deal on a polished reflector.

you can also check the selling forum. People sell them every now and then, but these reflectors are good...so a lot do keep them.

They have a better coverage compare to the spider reflectors. If you get the lumenarcs, you don't have to upgrade anymore, which saves you a ton of cash in the long run.

Heres an article:

Pepe saw my reflectors and I only use two for an 8 foot tank.

Indeed I did see them, the lumenarcs get good coverage, but they're quite a large piece of sheet metal. I have "spider reflectors" (the hellolights kind) on both of my tanks and am quite happy with them. If my budget had room for fancy reflectors, I might go with the lumenarcs, but at that price I'd rather spend the money on living items for my tank. I can live with 90% reflectivity as opposed to 98%.

on top of not having any reflectors, i'm also lookin for a canopy because at the moment my lights are held up by some scrap wood nailed to my extra shelves for support and the legs are stabilized by my sea of science text.:p anyone out there feel like building one for me, i'll help and pay for your time if needed.
