Looking for shroom name

On occasion I have seen shrooms that are as big as my hand and look crocheted. Not hairy, but as if they were actually knitted. They come in all colors and even sizes but tend to be bigger than average. Does anyone know what these mushrooms are called?

I would guess it was one of the many species of Rhodactus. Looking through the google image results may narrow it down a bit.

This is about as close to one as I could find. The one I saw had much more detail and many more colors and was predominantly white.
