I LOVE my sequence pumps, but i dont think they make what i want. Looking for suggestions.

I need a pressure rated pump that will give me 8000+ GPH at 15 feet of head, pressure rated over 50 ft.

?? Suggestions??

........

oh, and it needs to be super quiet, not use very much electricity, nor transfer any heat to the water either.

I don't know where you'll find an 8000+ gph pump that's going to be super quiet and use little electricity.

Check out hayward pool pumps, I don;t know if their exactly what you're looking for but it might be.

Go onto the large tanks forum and looks for the guys with the HUGE tanks and see if they have any good recommendations.

What's it for if you don't mind my asking?

I was kidding on the super quiet and electricity thing.

Its for a fairly complicated CLS, and i really want to use only one pump in this application, regardless of what that desire may cost in the big picture.

Thanks for the reply. :)

Dolphin almost gets there with their SP or AmpMasters. I have an AmpMaster 7500 and it's *very* quiet. I also have a 4800 SP and even though it has more torque, it's much louder and runs hotter.

Thanks for the replies.

I like the wattage use of the ampmaster.....but it comes at a price of less head pressure which i need for what im doing. I didnt know sequence made those bigger pumps like that...i gotta admit, i didnt expect them to use quite that much electricity. holly crap. I was guessing at twice what my hammerhead uses...not 3 times........lol

They have another one that is even bigger, the 9000gph pump. The downside, as you noticed was the electricity usage, which is noticably higher, but it's tough to compare a pressure rated pump to a non-pressure rated pump. Although the Cuda and hammerhead are rated for medium head pressure.
