looking for used eqiupment

A controller was the best investment in my tank!!!! I will never run a tank with out one now that I have gotten the chance to see how great they are.

when you say controller you are refering to multi controller what brands have a good name and are user friendly?

Neptune Aquacontroller is what I have and am happy with it. Reefkeeper is another that is good.

If you dont' have a calc reactor a doser for your part is a must. Dumping the stuff in doesn't cut it and less maintenance.

I am not sure what the use of the controller is. I have my lights and fan on a timer and my chiller has a temp controller and a heater port. So, what does the controller do above and beyond that. I am aware pH controll is of benefit for Ca reactors.

basically does everything you listed for the equipment that dont have internal controllers.
You can have it control fans, lights, timed intervals for powerheads, you can have things turn off if the tank reaches a certail level, etc...etc...

I can't amagine that it was different then info you can find on RC for free.

because very few ppl will be on rc to help you when time is critical

agreed info it the root of everything. but it is a good Idea to read before it happens so you know what to do ahead of time. and I didn't mean so much about asking quesitons Reef keeper Mag on RC is great years or articals with everything you can imagine of topics.
