LOOKING TO BUY PODS!

I just upgraded my tank to an Oceanic Tech 70 from a standard AGA 50. I ripped out all of my sand and replaced it with some new Ocean Direct Oolite. I have a mandarin and I dont want him to starve. I do have a fuge and another frag tank but I think I need to re-seed my new tank.

I can pick them up right away or give you my UPS account for shipping.

Someone here was running a pod farm a little while back and talking about getting folks a seed bottle if they needed. Try searching back a bit in this forum (I was looking for that thread myself, actually).

I also know that many LFS around here carry a shipped product that is basically like a capri-sun sized pack of pods. Call around and you might get lucky.

How long have you had the mandarin?

PM "hollback" on the CORA forum. He sells pod and will shipp. They worked well in my tank. My spotted Mandarin seems fat and happy.

There is a guy that sells them every year at the frag swap for like $15 or $20. Keep an eye on fragswapper as well and you can prob pick them up then.

Dtip--what LFS do you know of that has ever had pods...i've yet to see one i know AT used to sell them way back in the day but then they stoped.

Jurassic Aquatics on Chardon had a shipment of em in the last time I was there, right up at the front of the store. Might try calling them and see when or why they ordered some, and how often they stock them.

If you have a mandarin to supply, a cheap offline pod farm like Aadler built seems to be the way to go imho. Those fish can never have too many, and those packs looked expensive (I mean, not each one on its own, though I can't remember the exact price, but if you tried to feed with them, they'd add up fast).

I could shake out my grass in my fuge and get some for you.
Tropical aquarium in Brunswick had little bottles of pods by the register last time I was there. Maybe give Hector a call.

Everything you need to read is in that link I posted. It's all very well laid out by Aadler.

It does seem like the bulk of the really good stores are on the West Side. Ho hum...

I just have calupera and cheato in my fuge and look in there and can see them. I set it up for my Manderin. He seems fat and happy.

Kinda strange though... he is all different colors...lol
