Hi everyone. I'll keep this short...Im setting up my 2nd tank (54 gal) and I am looking for a 3rd. Here is a list of items Im looking for...if you have any for sale, or know someone who does, please PM me. Much appreciated! -Dustin

* a 30 - 55 gallon tank
* fluval filters
*glass canopy/ any sort of top for a 54 gallon tank (future home of an octopus)
*Any unwanted LR
*Lighting for the 54 gallon octopus tank (doesnt need to be strong as octopus dont have any special light requirements)
*stand for a 50 gal breeder tank

Also if anybody has any opinions on jellyfish, I'd like to hear them bc Im thinking about having a jellyfish tank...still in the process of researching it though. Thanks everybody!

Please read the info I put in Linda's thread on octopus.

Depending on species jellyfish are not (hobby) aquarium friendly for the following reasons

-Most have little or no swimming ability (this acyuall classifies them as plankton) therefor you need a highly spohisticated circullation system (Look up Krieger tank) in order to suspend them in the water without drawing them into the filter intake.

-Most of them have dietary requirements that would require you to feed them constantly. You would litterally have to stay home all day and feed them.

-You may do some research on Cassiopia (the upsidedown jellyfish) but I don't believe they have a good track record in captivity.

If you want my opinion leave the jellyfish to public aquariums.

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to Tony down at Swamp Bottom...he set me up with a great deal on some powerheads and an eheim filter. Def will be going back there for sure. Also Thank you to Linda C. who has helped me to a great extent getting my 55gal setup with base rock, live sand, tank stand, and lighting...really appreciate the help while Im trying to start up my first few tanks here. Thanks again guys!
