looking to get a new tank. Center overflow?

Looking to get a new 135 gallon glass tank. Should I make it a center overflow or a corner overflow?
Are there any advantages from one or the other?

That is entirely based upon the geographical layout of your tank. How do you want the finished product to look? How will the overflow fit into that scheme?

I went with a center overflow simply because people will walk by/see the sides of the tank just as much as the front.

well the layout would be based on the tank. It would be best if I can use the corner but i heard that the center will pull the scum off the top better in the center.

If the overflow is in the corner, and your current is directing the surface water to that same corner, it will work well. If the overflow is in the middle, and your current is directing the surface water towards the middle, it will work well.
