I have a like new Reef Octopus Diablo XS 160 looking to trade for a SWC 160 Cone. My skimmer is in perfect condition. I am willing to consider any insump skimmer comparable to the SWC 160. Must be in great shape.

I'd be interested in trading, I have a brand new SWC-160. I bought it for my dad for his birthday present, and he told me he didnt have room for a skimmer (apparently he bought a bunch of other crap for his sump)

I also have the receipt I can include for warranty purposes. It was bought only a few days ago.
Since it wont fit his tank I was going to put in in mine, but I was considering a bit Diablo instead so it works out to both our advantages lol.

Actually after doing some reading it seems this skimmer is very loud, has that been the case for you?

I do not find the skimmer loud. I suppose if your tank were already completely silent you could hear it. I think my MP40wes is louder than the skimmer. IMO the noise is relative to the person hearing it.

2 people bailed after reading somewhere how loud this skimmer is. It is not loud to me. I've read dozens of reviews going either direction on the issue. There are steps that can be taken to minimize noise. Guess it is personal preference. Just figured I'd put it out there so not to waste anyones time. Still up for trade
