looking to upgrade

Hey Everyone,
I am more than likely joining SLASH at next event. (When ever that may be)
Becca (my wife) and I currently have a 55 Gallon Remora skimmer, 3 different filters, 60 lbs of live rock, and 70 lbs of live sand.
All of our fish are very young and small but I know that they aren't going to stay that way. So we are looking to upgrade. A few problems with that, first off money of course. But also and most importantly we lack the know-how. We are dumber than a tank of rocks quite literally.
The thought of having a sump and drilled tanks and refugium is intimidating.
So I was going to propose something out of the ordinary and a little weird.
First off, does anyone have a good set up 120g or more they are willing to part with for less than 300$ doesn't have to be a full set up I can piece it together. Secondly and perhaps where I over step the boundries. Could I get a crew of vets that find it fun to set up a tank for the price of some beers and pizza?
Think of it as like the ole' barn raising of yester-year. That way I know it is set up correctly and if I get a quite few people it would be more of a party than work. It's not like it will be this weekend or anything. Sometime late Oct or begin Nov maybe.

I actually think that the second request will be easier to fill than the first.

The group of people here are always mor ethan willing to help with equipment and setup. We all enjoy tinkering with the the tanks and with a little help I am sure you will see its no big deal to set up a sump and fuge. I was nervous my first time as well, that feeling will pass.

I was nervous about changing the filter pads. I only did a saltwater tank in the first place because my wife was insistent on it. But now that I am hooked I wonder why I waited so long and what I did with my time before I had one.
i may have shot a little low on the price of the tank and stand it was more of an estimate.

Unlimited amount of knowledge and help here. However, you need to do a lot of research and reading. Ask a lot of questions. Yes, people will help you out with a tank and things of such but you still have to understand them. Trust me, I ask more questions than anyone. Having you have people help you set it up will only help you so much and could possibly be a bad thing

I will have ALOT of questions trust me guys. As soon as I'm smart enough to figure out I need to ask a question I usually shoot it out right away!! Until then, I don't know I don't know.
